HOW TO MAKE AN APPLE-RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE.

It is very simple to whoop this together:
PREP INGREDIENTS:

  • Make sure to wash and prepare your ingredients. Cut up your apples and make sure to remove all bits of the core and seeds. There is no need to peel the apple unless you’d like to.
  • Wash raspberries and bananas. Peel, slice and freeze both in Ziploc bags for a couple of hours.
    BLEND:
  • Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high until smooth! Endeavour to use a blender that is able to blend frozen fruits.

  • Add strawberries for an apple-raspberry-strawberry smoothie, extra berries are always great.
  • Substitute raspberries for different berries you have on hand like strawberries or blackberries.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Raspberries, sliced and frozen
  • 2 red apples, sliced
  • 1 large ripe banana (sliced and frozen)
  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start by cutting the apples into cubes and add to the blender.
  2. Add milk to the blender with the frozen banana and raspberries.
  3. Add yoghurt to the blender and blend on high speed for about 2-3 minutes tillmixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste for sweetness, then add honey if required. Blend for about 20- 30 seconds and you are done.
  5. Serve evenly in 2 glasses and Enjoy!

NOTES

  • You can substitute fresh or frozen fruit depending on what you have. If you use more fresh fruit than frozen, you can decrease the amount of milk used.
  • To make this smoothie dairy free, you can use your favorite non-dairy milk and yogurt.
