Prep Time: 15 minutes
Serving: 4
INGREDIENTS
- 10 medium mandarines
- 5 medium oranges
- 1 medium grapefruit
- 1/2 medium lemon
DIRECTIONS
- Wash fruits and peel the back of all citrus fruits.
- In a blender, put in peeled and chopped fruits. Add 1/2 cup of cold water to ease the blending process. Blend on high for about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in a colander to strain. Pour juice in a jar and throw away chaff.
- Stir and taste. If you feel it too sour to your liking, add any sweetener of your choice and Enjoy!
TIPS
- Try to buy organic products if you can but using non organic fruits still works.
- With fruits, their sweetness can vary. This means the same juice can have a different level of sweetness every time you make it. If you find it rather sour, add a sweetener of your choice like honey or maple syrup.
- When adding honey, make sure to stir it well as it does not melt easily in cold drinks.
- Lemon and Lime can be omitted.
- I donot recommend blending citrus fruits with the peel because it tends to be bitter. You donot want your drink to have a bitter taste.
